Set Up

Shuffle the deck and place it face down in the center to be the Draw Pile. Get pencil and paper if you need scratch paper. 

Goals

Use order of operations to get the target answer using the cards you flip over. 

Directions

Version 1: Flip over 5 cards and use order of operations to add, subtract, multiply, and/or divide to get the answer 10.

Version 2: Flip over 4 cards and use order of operations to add, subtract, multiply, and/or divide to get the answer 24.

Variations:

• Easy: Use any of the cards once, but you do not have to use all of them.
• Challenge: Use all of the cards only once
• If there is a tie, the person who is able to come up with the most solutions wins
• If there is a tie, the person who used the most cards wins
